Privacy policy

Home and Yacht LLC operates homeandyachtmarketing.com. This page explains what the site collects, why, and what you can ask for. Last updated 6 September 2026.

What I collect

What you send me. If you use the booking form, I receive the fields you fill in: your name, phone number, email address, the property address, the square footage, the package you picked, your preferred date, any notes, and how you found me. If you call, text or email instead, I have whatever is in that message.

Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read. That records things like the pages you viewed, roughly where in the world you are, the type of device and browser you used, and whether you clicked a phone number or a text link. It is set up to measure the site, not to identify you.

Advertising measurement. The site also loads the Google Ads tag and the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel. They let me see whether an ad led to a visit or an enquiry, and they may be used to show ads for Home and Yacht to people who visited this site. Both providers set their own cookies and may link a visit to an account you hold with them. You can opt out of personalised ads at Google’s Ads Settings and in your Meta ad preferences, and the site works normally with those cookies blocked.

Server logs. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard request logs including IP addresses for a short period, for security and troubleshooting.

Why I collect it

To reply to your enquiry, quote a shoot, schedule it, invoice it and deliver the files. To keep track of which listings I have photographed for you. And, in aggregate, to work out which parts of this site are useful and which are not.

I do not sell your information, and I do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who else touches it

A small number of services handle data on my behalf so that the business can run:

• Vercel, which hosts the site and serves it to your browser.
• Resend, which delivers the booking form to my inbox.
• Google Workspace, which runs the hello@homeandyachtmarketing.com mailbox.
• Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta, described above.
• QuickBooks, for invoicing and accounting records.

Each of those has its own privacy policy and keeps your information only for the purpose it was given.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to tell repeat visits from new ones. The Google Ads tag and the Meta pixel set advertising cookies as described above. Nothing else on this site sets a cookie. You can block or delete them in your browser settings and the site will still work normally.

How long it is kept

Enquiries and job records are kept for as long as I need them for the work and for tax and accounting purposes, which in Florida means several years. Analytics data is retained on Google’s standard schedule. If you ask me to delete an enquiry that did not turn into a job, I will.

Your choices

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask for a copy, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email hello@homeandyachtmarketing.com or call or text (954) 798-4144 and I will handle it myself, usually the same week.

If you are contacting me from somewhere with its own data protection law, such as the EU, the UK or California, tell me and I will apply the rights that law gives you.

Children

This is a business site for property and marine marketing. It is not aimed at children and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Photography and your property

Separate from this site: when you book a shoot, I photograph the property you have asked me to photograph and deliver those files to you. I may use a selection of images in my own portfolio, on this site and on social media. If you or your seller would rather I did not, say so when you book and I will keep that listing out of the portfolio.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version replaces this one on this page with a new date at the top.
