Deliverables for YachtWorld and Boat Trader

High-resolution files sized for the listing sites, web-optimized copies for email and social, and video finished as a horizontal cut for the listing and a vertical cut for Reels.

Interiors are shot in HDR so a dark salon and a bright deck read correctly in the same frame. Dockside drone is in the per-foot price for both photography and video, and underway coverage is the add-on when the vessel needs to be shown moving.

Shooting a waterfront house on the same trip is often possible. Every listing package is on the pricing page, and the Fort Lauderdale page covers the waterfront neighborhoods where that comes up most.

Google review

Our yacht brokerage company Current Yachts has been working with Josh Vega from Home & Yacht on several projects over the past few months, and we could not have been more thrilled. Josh represents the perfect blend of quality, speed, and professionalism. And it's such a genuine pleasure to work with him. We appreciate his insights and recommendations which have contributed to improving our deliverables significantly. As a result, Josh has become our go-to photography + video provider for luxury yacht listings in South Florida and we even fly him to shoots in the islands when necessary.

Yacht questions

How is yacht photography priced?

Per foot. Photography is $12 a foot and cinematic video is $12 a foot, with a $450 minimum booking, so a 65-footer and a 120-footer are quoted on the same scale. A vertical Reel from the video shoot is $250 and underway coverage is $500.

What is not included in the per-foot price?

Captain, chase boat, fuel, marina fees and other third-party production costs are additional when required. Local pricing applies within 50 miles; travel outside that is quoted separately.

Do you travel to the boat?

Yes. Local pricing covers 50 miles from Fort Lauderdale. Beyond that, travel is quoted separately, and nationwide and international production is available.

What do brokers receive?

High-resolution horizontal images that upload straight to YachtWorld, Boat Trader and the brokerage MLS systems, plus a web-optimized set for email and social. The lead photo is chosen and edited to work as a thumbnail, because that is the only frame most buyers see. If you have a house style for lead images or a set image count, send it before the shoot and I will deliver to it.

Text the length for a price

Send the length, the marina and a couple of dates. Local pricing covers 50 miles from Fort Lauderdale; beyond that I quote travel separately.
