Real estate photographer in Fort Lauderdale

I am based in Margate, twenty-odd minutes up the road, and Fort Lauderdale is where a lot of my week already happens. That is the practical part of hiring somebody local: early slots are realistic, a same-week booking is normal, and nobody is billing you for a drive down from Palm Beach.

Every package is the same price here as it is anywhere else in Broward County. There is no Fort Lauderdale surcharge, and there is no quote form standing between you and a number. Essential is $175, Aerial is $225, Complete is $300, Complete + AI Video is $425 and Signature is $700, each covering a property up to 2,500 sq ft. What a Fort Lauderdale listing usually needs

Fort Lauderdale is not one market, and the right package changes street by street.

Waterfront and the Isles. On Las Olas Isles, Rio Vista, Harbor Beach, Seven Isles and Coral Ridge, the dockage is part of the sale. A ground-level photo cannot show a buyer the width of the canal, the ocean access or how the dock sits against the house. That is what the drone is for, and it is why waterfront listings usually start at Aerial rather than Essential. If there is a boat at the dock, say so when you book: I shoot yachts as well as houses and the two can often be done on one visit.

Condos and towers. Galt Ocean Mile, Victoria Park, downtown and the beach corridor. Interiors here live or die on window exposure. A unit with a water view is worth photographing in HDR precisely so the view outside the glass is visible rather than blown out, and so is the room in front of it.

Older single-family stock. Victoria Park, Sailboat Bend, Poinsettia Heights, Lauderdale Manors. Smaller footprints, more character, more renovation stories to tell. These are the listings where a 3D tour earns its keep, because the floor plan is the question a buyer has and a gallery does not answer it.

New construction and luxury. If you are running paid ads against a listing or pitching a builder for repeat work, Signature at $700 is the one, because it comes back with a filmed property video as well as the photos, the drone and the tour.

How the day works

You text the address, the square footage and the package, and you usually get a confirmed time back within a few hours. On the day I photograph the interior and exterior in HDR and fly the drone if the package includes it. A standard home takes about an hour. Editing and color correction are done by hand, by me, and the files land in your inbox the next day along with the marketing kit: a single-property website, printable flyers, social tiles and slideshow videos.

That next-day delivery is the whole reason to book a shoot for a Wednesday when the listing goes live on Thursday. It also means a Fort Lauderdale listing shot Friday afternoon can be live for the weekend.

Drone over Fort Lauderdale

Drone photography is included from the Aerial package up. It is the difference between a buyer guessing and a buyer seeing: the canal, the ocean access, the lot line, the walk to the beach, the golf course behind the property. On the barrier island and along the Intracoastal it is close to mandatory.

A practical note: some parts of Fort Lauderdale sit under controlled airspace because of the executive airport and the international airport, and drone flights there need authorization before takeoff rather than on the day. Tell me the address when you book and I will check the airspace before we agree a time, so nothing is a surprise on the morning of the shoot.
